Prevention programs at our German locations In 2023, in addition to the already established online and in-person offerings, our occupational health promotion also offered courses with in-person and online participation (via live streaming) for the first time. The positive feedback and the number of new participants has encouraged us to consider this format again in our 2024 annual planning. In 2023, almost 3,000 employees took part in the voluntary measures. The focus was once again on exercise, ergonomics, stress management, and nutrition.  GRI 403-3, GRI 403-6 Highlight: company fun run – achieving our goal together! In 2023, the Festo company run took place in Germany once again and this time with the slogan “Achieving our goal together.” In both Waiblingen and Dillingen (Germany), 300 employees came together for the 5.5-kilometer run. Together with our external partners, various activities such as lectures, running training, and individual performance diagnostics with gait analyses were offered in the lead-up to the company run. This gave beginners the opportunity to prepare themselves safely and competently. Versatile prevention through screening At our site in Saarland (Germany), the focus in 2023 was on screenings. Throughout the year, our employees were able to take part in screenings dealing with exercise, stress, and nutrition. In 2023, for example, we offered a total of ten different measurement and screening modules, such as the Medi Mouse spine screening, the cardiac stress measurement Cardio Scan, and a bioelectrical impedance analysis to measure the composition of muscle and fat mass in the body. Around 300 employees took part in the measures and were enthusiastic about the various screenings. Good collaboration brings quality In order to be able to provide our employees with better-quality measures and an optimized range of services, our occupational health promotion has set itself the goal of further improving internal collaboration in 2023. This includes stronger networking with occupational safety and occupational medicine. At a higher level, the departments strive for common strategic goals – with a long-term global focus.
